New from Savinelli we have the Dry System, the dry system has been developed to stop wet smoking. Savinelli have developed a moisture trap which is similar to that of the Peterson standard system. The dry system is effective with or without the 6mm Balsa filter. As with all Savinelli pipes this is made from the finest Italian briar. The mouthpiece on these pipes is also different to normal Savinellis it almost like a wide P Lip. This mouthpiece give an even spread of the smoke and prevents tongue bite, it also stop juices entering the mouth via the stem. The result of all these innovations is an exception dry and smooth smoke. A pipe like this is definitely worth having in the collection as it allows you to enjoys tobaccos that in other pipes you may have found previously too harsh or damp. The pipe is also ideal for beginners.
