The 80s is classed as either a Bent Bulldog or Bent Rhodesian, not that it really matters. The shape was once favoured by rugged, outdoors men for its easy to hold angles. Featuring the square shank and cut lines on the rim of the bowl. A light brown stain is used to bring out the grain, before a light polish for a semi matte finish. Uses the Fishtail mouthpiece for comfortable grip. While the Aran range isn't exactly the most refined Peterson pipe, or made using the highest grade of briar. The Aran pipes are made to the same level of craftsmanship and care. They offer the smoker a very well made pipe for under £50, by one of the worlds most popular pipe makers.
