The B56 is taken from the special and limited edition range of shapes. This tall Billaird was featured as the 2014 pipe of the year. When Peterson first start processing their briar it is graded, all flaws and grain pattern determine the ranges of pipe they will be used for. Most are only suitable for the standard lines (Aran, Rock of Cashel etc), while the flawless briar is used for the high grades. This glossy, green billiard is from the latter, flawless briar with no putty filled inclusions. The green stain really makes the grain stand out and has darker, almost black contrasts. Fitted with the hand crafted Silver Spigot mount, made by Petersons head silversmith David Blake.
